Lori Muldowney
With over 20 years in business, Ms. Muldowney provides clients with a unique combination of private sector, public sector, “Big Six” management consulting practice and owner-operator experience and skills. Ms. Muldowney is also a Professional Business and Personal Coach, helping individuals, teams, entrepreneurs and executives reach their full potential. She provides one-to-one and team coaching which helps teams learn how to work more harmoniously; managers to become world-class motivators; executives to put their long-term plans into action; and ultimately, companies to become more profitable with less employee turnover and greater strategic direction. This unique set of skills has been carefully honed through senior management and consultative roles with several hundred organizations in such industries as information technology, financial services, business services, oil and gas, hospitality, transportation, manufacturing and charities. Ms. Muldowney has held a number of senior management positions with Ernst & Young, Trimac, and the Government of Ontario, among other organizations. She has owned and operated Dark Horse Strategies since 1995. She is an active volunteer and member of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Strategic Leadership Forum, the International Coaching Federation, the Calgary Association of Professional Coaches, the Association of Certified Executive Coaches, Appreciative Inquiry Calgary, Coachville, the Canadian Association of HR Planners, and is founder of Wired Woman Society Calgary Chapter, a national organization that encourages women to explore career and educational opportunities in Information Technology. |
